Discipline acts as a guiding force in navigating life's choices. When you resist immediate temptations or distractions today, you're essentially preserving your focus and energy for pursuits aligned with your long-term goals. It's a proactive decision to invest in your future self, ensuring that when opportunities arise, you're equipped and ready to say yes to those that truly matter. So discipline isn't just about denying yourself in the present, it's about creating a foundation for a future where your affirmations carry even more significance and impact!!

Discipline is accountability. In order to grow and heal, we have to acknowledge that sometimes we are our own barrier to achieving greatness. We have to be disciplined to hold ourselves accountable. Diligent to forgive and extend ourselves grace. By doing this, not only do we find self-love, we find an unparalleled resilience, an unwavering foundation within ourselves with no limitations.

Well, I just joined a gym again. I’ve tried to be active most my life but you know…everyone falls off that path from time to time. So for me the gym brings yoga and cardio and weights and ultimately relaxation. Clarity. More capacity to build on my work and ideas and compassion. ❤️

Still learning this Lewis Howes , as it is a continious work until becomes habit, I think. Wouldn't say greatness, but made positive changes on my health : 4 years of twice a day same routine of exercises. Not asking about yours though, most likely, it was your disciplined years until we can see your achievements today...Thank you for continious inspiration.

It's a sad reality, but so many professionals conflate punishment with discipline. If you think of discipline as preemptive punishment, you'll never have the chance to develop new habits before negative self-talk andexpectations settle in. The "voice" of discipline is matter-of-fact and keeps an eye on what you promised yourself to do. It really is a high form of self-care. Thanks for pointing out this critical difference, Lewis Howes!
