How do you plant a kite in factory? ›

The required room is the "Breach Room" on Factory. Place 3x Gunpowder "Kite" while night time there. The "Breach Room" is the room between the office and the locked room on the third floor. Each Gunpowder "Kite" takes 30 seconds to place, leading to a total placement time of 90 seconds.

In this quest you have to find a HDD which can be found in the radar station commandant's office on Lighthouse. A Radar station commandant room key is needed to enter it. The radar station is located at the lighthouse peninsula territory.

To unlock daily operational tasks, you need to reach level 5 with your PMC. On the other hand, weekly quests require level 15. Once your character has those levels, you should always check the Traders menu to see if they have a new temporary mission for you.

Note: To get access to the Peacekeeper quests you need to complete the quest Friend From the West - Part 2 from Skier.

Kites are now mostly used for recreation. Lightweight synthetic materials (ripstop nylon, plastic film, carbon fiber tube and rod) are used for kite making. Synthetic rope and cord (nylon, polyethylene, kevlar and dyneema) are used as bridle and kite line.

Here you'll need to find the camp built by another NPC that you have locked at the moment, called Jaeger. In that camp, you'll have to find a message and then deliver it to the Mechanic — which means you need to survive the Raid with the message in your inventory. Unless specified by the quest itself, you can also complete quests with your Scav. Contrary to PMCs, when playing as a Scav you'll enter the map when the Raid is in progress (the exact moment varies). This means that the PMCs will also have an advantage in position, and they will be able to loot locations before you.

Peacekeeper will gladly buy tech items like SAS drives, SSD drives, secured magnetic tape cassettes, or diaries. Those are often sold on flea for the same price you will get from the trader. Jaeger is good to level up with melee weapons sold on flea, like Antique axes, or with injectors.

Scav tasks

They can be obtained from Fence after you built the Hideout module "Intelligence Center". The rewards for these tasks are largely randomized and can give a variety of items and Scav karma.

To gain access to this quest, most, but not all quests in the game need to be completed. There is no clear pattern which quests are required. It's decided by the developers and changes with new game updates. The quest with the highest required level is Crisis at 48.

In this quest you have to find Jaeger's encrypted message on Woods. The message is located under a hunting stand which is located in the eastern part of the location, near the crashed plane. Once you have obtained the message, you must extract from the location and hand it over to Mechanic.
